  •  Before Western Medicine equipped with surgery, synthetic drugs, CAT scans, etc. Many cultures developed their own natural therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is one of this medical systems. It started 5000 years ago in China, developed, systemized and improved by many generations of practioners, it integrated thousands of years of direct human experience of observation to the body and nature, reasoned and channeled with the unique Yin-Yang, Five-Elements philosophy, became an independent medical system. It’s still improving upon meeting with Western Medicine, dealing with health condition changes caused by environmental and food pollution, and developing modern preventative medicine based on its therapeutic theory. Western Medicine, with its great achievements, is undoubtedly the dominating medical system nowadays. TCM doesn’t and can’t replace it, but TCM can be complimentary to Western medicine.  We all agree that certain chronic conditions may best be served by TCM. Now TCM serves millions of patients each year in USA, it is being practiced in about 200 countries in the world. (Read more about Theory or Philosophy at TCM).
